While there are many 2 GB RAM phones in the market and they do perform well to some extent, there are a few devices with better 3 GB RAM as well. But, with more and more advancements pouring in from different aspects, soon the smartphone arena will witness devices with 4 GB of RAM as well. This is what we are going to talk about today and the credits go to the Chinese regulator database TENAA for revealing this sizzling information. If the Engadget report is to be believed, the ZTE Grand S2 that has been spotted on the TENAA website (a FCC equivalent) will be the first smartphone to feature a whopping 4 GB of RAM. The Grand S2 was initially showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2014 event, however it was not unleashed then. However, the specifications of the phone revealed by the Chinese regulator are quite different from the ones as shown at the tech show earlier this year. The TENAA certification shows that the ZTE Grand S2 will include a huge 4 GB chunk of RAM, which will obviously translate to clutter-free performance, superior multi-tasking and many other noticeable benefits. Besides this, the handset boasts of a 5.5 inch FHD 1080p display and a quad-core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz under the hood. It is said that the phone will house 13 MP primary camera, 2 MP front-facing camera for making video calls and a 3,000 mAh battery besides being fueled by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. As of now, there is no information regarding the pricing or the specific release date of the ZTE Grand S2, but there are gossips suggesting that it will be unveiled later this year and that it will be the flagship model of the vendor.
