Yu Yutopia Unboxing, Quick Review, Camera and Gaming [Video]
Yu Yutopia Camera Hardware
To get the specifications out of the way, the Yutopia has a 21 MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, 77.3 degrees wide angle lens and the image sensor used is a Sony EXMOR IMX 230. The rear camera also has Phase Detection Auto Focus feature, dual tone LED flash light support, 6P largan lens, Blue glass filter.
The front camera is 8 MP with f/2.2 aperture, 1.4 μm and 5P Largan lens.
Yu Yutopia Camera Software
Yu features its InLife camera UI to its Yutopia that is looks very dissimilar to any of the existing camera UI. If the icon placements are concerned, the camera shutter and video switch is on the right side, and camera settings and front cam toggle are at the bottom coupled with 2 more icons. The good thing is that the viewfinder stretches over the screen and gives you a good view at the objects. The settings contain a lot of options including switchable viewfinder, and zero shutter lag etc. There are few filters to put pre effects on your photos. Our experience with the UI was fair and it was functionally sound and easy to use. The rear camera can record up to 4K videos and HD videos can be recorded from the front camera.

Yu Yutopia Camera Performance
The camera on Yu Yutopia performs exceptionally well in almost all the conditions but it does have some issues with stability but it’s still manageable. The focus is very accurate, fast and does a fair job. Looking at the price, the camera definitely has some charm. Specially the rear camera shots in day light were really great and showed good details and colours. Low light and indoor shots were also great in detail and clarity but the colours looked a different from real. Front camera performance was also great, pictures were clear but it definitely missed some punch in colours in this case as well. If we look at the overall performance at this price point, we have no complaints with the camera on Yu Yutopia.

Conclusion
We are thoroughly satisfied with the camera performance that Yu Yutopia offered with both the cameras. The camera software is good, and the UI is swift. It offers a lot of options and modes, including HDR, slow motion and time lapse. It has everything that a high end camera phone has, but definitely not as great as iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy S6. But looking at the competitions in under 25k, we have no complains with the camera module. [table id=276 /]
