Yu Yunique Camera Hardware
As we have already briefed, the rear camera is 8MP having 3264 x 2448 pixels to click high definition pictures. The f/2.0 aperture allows the right amount of light to pass through the lens. Additionaly, the rear camera has a LED flash for support in darker conditions and an autofocus which comes with object lock feature. The front shooter is 2MP with 83 degree wide angle lense and 720 p resolution.
Camera Software
The camera software contains some fancy features for an INR 4999 phone. It is flooded with a lot of shooting modes to choose from, different colour schemes and a fancy camera UI. The drawback we figured out is, when you tap the settings on the camera, half of the screen gets hidden behind the panel. Overall the camera software is satisfactory and offers a lot of modes to play with, considering that this is an entry level handset.

Camera Performance
If compared to the other phones in its range, the camera gives satisfactory results. The camera does a fair job in terms of details and produces bright colours while shooting outdoors but we noticed excess amount of brightness while clicking a distant object, thus implying inconsistent exposure. The performance is artificial light was average considering the price of this phone. Their was a blue tint in some shots and the details were not so impressive. You need to hold the phone still to get a perfect picture with least grains and noise, that means point and shoot is not an option most of the times. The camera still performs convincingly if compared to other phone of the same price range. [table id=90 /]
