Coming to the specifications of the phone, apart from the 1.5GHz quad core nVidia Tegra 3 processor, the phone is supposed to have a 4.7 inch OGS (one glass screen) screen with an HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels, a rear camera of 8 megapixels, a front camera of 2 megapixels and a battery rated 2000mAh. All this on the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean platform.

The HTC One X was the first nVidia Tegra 3 device to be launched in the country last year, and the processor did manage to make waves. A range of devices including the Asus/Google Nexus 7 took to the nVidia Tegra 3 platform, but no other Indian manufacturer has managed to roll out a device based on the same. Given the price point the device is bound to do well, there simply are no second thoughts. This move by Lava Xolo is sure to give other manufacturers like Micromax a reason to rethink their strategies, Micromax have, since long, been sticking to the Mediatek formula, but now the value proposition has altogether been pulled to a different new level by Xolo, given the speculations are true.   [Sources: 1, 2]
