2 unreleased phones made it to XOLO’s official website today, the XOLO Q900 and A600. The devices are expected to be officially launched by XOLO in the coming few days. Q900 will be a quad core phone with a 4.7 inch screen, whereas the A600 will be a dual core phone with a smaller 4.5 inch screen.
Other specifications of the XOLO Q900 include a 4.7 inch IPS display with an HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels, a powerful quad core processor in Mediatek’s MT6589, which operates at 1.2GHz per core. The phone will have an 8MP camera at the rear, which will be assisted by BSI and LED flash for low light photography, and will be capable of shooting high definition videos in 1080p. On the front, the phone will have a 2MP unit which will be used for video calls. As you might have expected, there will be 1GB of RAM along with 4GB of on-board storage and a microSD card slot for further expansion. The phone will run on Android v4.1.1 and will have a rather small 1800mAh battery. The phone will reportedly be available for 12,999 INR.
Coming to the A600, as mentioned previously, the phone will have a dual core processor in the form of the MT6572W, which operates at 1.3GHz per core. The display on the A600 will be a 4.5 inch panel with a qHD resolution of 960×540 pixels. This device will have a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, and a 0.3MP unit on the front. Like the Q900, the phone will have 4GB of on-board storage space, but will feature reduced RAM in 512MB. Surprisingly, the A600 will feature both a larger capacity battery and a newer Android version when compared to the Q900, with it’s 1900mAh unit and Android v4.2. There is no mention of the price of A600 on the website. The Q900 is expected to be a competitor to a range of other quad core phones like XOLO’s own Q800, Q1000, and a variety of phones from manufacturers like Micromax. On the other hand, the A600 will have devices like Spice Stellar Glamour, Micromax Canvas Fun, etc. to compete with.
