After Swipe and iBerry, now Xolo is all set to launch its next smartphone – Xolo Q2100 with finger print scanner, if sources at NDTV Gadgets are to be believed. The smartphone will also put on show an IR Blaster, to function as universal remote and differentiate itself from budget quad core crowd.

Since its a Q series smartphone, it will have a quad core chipset and according to leak source, Xolo is using MT6582 quad core clocked at 1.3 GHz assisted by 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. The chipset will power Android 4.4 Kitkat on the 5.5 inch phablet display lined with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD resolution). Imaging hardware also follows norms with an 8 MP Rear/ 2 MP front camera combination. Xolo has used Sony Exmor R sensor and dual LED flash for the rear camera. The handset houses a large 2800 mAh battery while other features include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG, A-GPS, and FM radio. The efficacy of Xolo’s fingerprint sensor implementation remains to be seen and judged. We do hope it won’t add to the list of things and features you use once and forget. The import data also reveals that the handset has already reached Indian shores and thus, you won’t have to wait too long for Xolo Q2100 to go official. The handset will be priced at 13, 499 which lies in the very competitive Moto G, Zenfone 5 and Xiaomi Mi3 arena. Xolo is also retailing its octa core 8X 1000 and 8X 1100 smartphones in the same price bracket, but this will be a noticeable addition.
