The Xiaomi Mi 2/2S features a 4.3-inch display, 8MP and 2MP cameras, Snapdragon APQ8064 processor with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM. It was launched back in April 2013.
About MIUI 9
MIUI is Xiaomi’s optimized skin based on Android. The MIUI 9 is the latest skin that is based on Android 7.1 Nougat (or older Android version for older devices). This skin adds many new features to your Mi device and will be rolling out this month only.
The latest update to MIUI brings multi-window support, Reply from the notification bar, smart gestures, optimized battery saver, inbuilt VPN and much more. The Mi 2/2S may not receive the full update but an optimized package to suit their hardware. Earlier yesterday, Xiaomi started recruiting enthusiasts to beta test its upcoming MIUI update.
