After launching the Redmi Note 7 series back in February, Xiaomi is all set to launch their next phone in the country. The teaser posted on Redmi India Twitter account is focused on selfies with a hashtag ‘YYY’. This suggests that the Redmi Y3 is coming to India soon.
Xiaomi Redmi Y3 Expected Features
Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar mentioned the number 32 twice in his tweet, so we expect that Redmi Y3 will sport a 32 MP front camera. Moreover, Redmi General Manager, Lu Weibing also mentioned a Redmi phone with 32 MP front camera on his Weibo account.

In the recent tweet, the company posted a video with the caption “You never run out of juice. Y should your phone? #YYY. How long does your phone last on a single charge?”. This suggests a bigger battery on Redmi Y3. Rest of the specs of the phone will be upgraded from Redmi Y2. If we recall the Redmi Y2 specs, it sports a 5.99-inch HD+ 18:9 display. It runs on MIUI 9.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with up to 4GB RAM & 64GB storage options. It features 12MP+5MP dual cameras at the back and a 16MP selfie camera with a selfie-LED flash. It gets a 3,080mAh battery. There isn’t much information available about Redmi Y3 as of now. The Redmi Y3 could be launched later this month in India and we should know more about it before the launch.
