The latest image comes from Chinese e-commerce website JD.com, according to a report. As per the listing, Xiaomi is planning to launch Redmi Note 5 with a full view display and 4000 mAh battery. The price of Redmi Note 5 is also shown with listing appeared on JD.com as 8888 Yuan which seems to be a placeholder for now. Earlier, a white color Redmi Note 5 found its way on to the internet. It was also revealed in earlier reports that Xiaomi is planning to launch at least three devices along with Redmi Note 5. It will be launching 3 models with same full-screen design, mainly the Redmi 5, Redmi 5 Plus, and the Redmi Note 5. If we talk about more specifications, a TENAA listing also revealed several other specs of the phones as well.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Specifications
The Redmi Note 5 is expected to feature an 18:9 aspect ratio display with minimum bezels. It is expected to come with a 5.99-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with 2160 × 1080 pixels resolution. However, the other variants are supposed to feature a smaller display. The Redmi Note 5 will run on Android 7.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 skinned on top.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is expected to pack an octa-core Snapdragon processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. Memory wise it could be paired with 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, with another variant expected to be launched with 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM storage. As mentioned in earlier leaks, the Redmi Note 5 is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup. However, this latest leak shows it is featuring a 5MP front camera and 12MP rear camera. The battery capacity on Redmi Note 5 is supposed to be 4000mAh. No other features have been revealed by listing. If we talk about pricing, the listing shows 8888 Yuan which could only be a representational price. However, if we believe earlier leaks the Redmi Note 5 is expected to be priced around 1599 yuan, roughly translating to Rs. 15,760.
