Display and Processor
Coolpad Dazen 1 has a 5 Inch IPS LCD display with 720p HD resolution, while Xiaomi Redmi 2 has a 4.7 Inch HD display. Though there is not much difference in pixel density for both displays, Xiaomi Redmi 2 display is better in quality with more vibrant colors and brightness. Both phones have the same Snapdragon 410 quad core processor, but Coolpad Dazen 1 has 2 GB RAM, while Redmi 2 has only 1 GB RAM. Despite the difference in RAM and MIUI 6 being heavier, the performance is more or less same on both smarthphones in practice.

Battery and Other Features
Battery capacity is 2200 mAh on Redmi 2, while Coolpad Dazen 1 has a slightly bigger 2500 mAh unit. The battery backup is similar on both devices. The Xiaomi Redmi 2 is running Android 4.4.4 Kitkat based MIUI 6, which is more in than Android KitKat based cool UI on Both phones support 4G LTE connectivity and similar set of connectivity options. Conclusion
Though Coolpad Dazen 1 seems to be better on paper, in practice Redmi 2 wins in several key aspects like camera, display, software and performance. Dazen 1 on the other hand has more free RAM and allows to transfer apps on SD card, which will give it performance advantage in the long run. Moreover, Coolpad Dazen 1 is 1000 INR cheaper which can be a potential deal breaker or maker in low cost price segment.
