The sale is slated to happen on December 8 and interestingly, there will be no registration process this time. Without registration, it is clear that the Redmi 1S will not be a flash sale, but the sale will end if the stocks get emptied. Xiaomi has not revealed the number of Redmi 1S units that will go on sale or the timing for the sale. The very next day, December 9, the Redmi Note will be listed for sale at 2 PM and it will be a flash sale that will happen in a matter of few seconds. Notably, Xiaomi let out 25,000 units of the Mi3 smartphone owing as a part of its festive offer and these smartphones were added automatically to the Flipkart carts of those consumers who tried to buy the device at least for five times and failed. Priced at Rs 5,999, the Xiaomi Redmi 1S smartphone flaunts a 4.7 inch IPS LCD display with HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels and employs a 1.6 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset alongside 1 GB of RAM. The smartphone bundles 8 GB of native storage capacity that can be expanded externally by another 64 GB. For imaging, the Redmi 1S arrives with an 8 MP primary camera with LED flash, auto focus and FHD 1080p video recording and is given a 1.6 MP front facer. Other aspects include a 2,000 mAh battery and USB OTG.
