Apart from the Mi Note 3, the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi also launched the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro. While the Mi Mix 2 is aimed at the flagship segment, the Mi Note 3 is focused at the mid range segment.

Xiaomi Mi Note 3 Specifications

The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 skinned on top. The device features a 5.5 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It comes with a pixel density of ~401 PPI and 550 nits brightness.

Coming to performance, the Mi Note 3 is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor clubbed with Adreno 512 GPU and 6GB RAM. In terms of storage, the device will be available in 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants. Coming to the camera department, the Mi Note 3 features a dual camera setup at the back, similar to the Mi 6. The device comes with two 12MP sensors with portrait mode, 2X optical zoom and dual LED flash. The primary 12MP camera comes with f/1.8 aperture, 4-axis OIS and 1.25μm pixel size. The secondary 12MP camera comes with 52mm portrait lens, f/2.6 aperture and 1.0 μm pixel size. On the front, the device sports a 16MP secondary camera with 2μm pixel size. Just like the Mi 6, the Mi Note 3 also comes with a front-mounted fingerprint sensor. Powering the device is a 3,500mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, Infrared port and USB Type-C port.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has been priced at CNY 24,999 (Rs. 24,500) for the 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant, CNY 2,899 (Rs. 28,400) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage Black color variant and the Blue color variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is priced at CNY 2999 (Rs. 29,400).
