A report by Mysmartprice citing their sources writes that Xiaomi might launch three Redmi phones in India. The report suggests that the Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Go will go official in India by the first quarter of this year. However, Xiaomi hasn’t said anything regarding their launch date in India.
Redmi Note 7 Pro
The Redmi Note 7 Pro will come with improved camera and hardware. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor. The Redmi Note 7 Pro will also sport a 48MP main camera but may use Sony IMX 586 sensor unlike the Note 7 that uses Samsung’s sensor.
If we talk about design, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will sport the same design as Redmi Note 7. The Note 7 Pro could feature similar display to the Note 7, however, Xiaomi might use AMOLED panel this time. The Redmi Note 7 Pro will also be available in gradient finish color variants. It is being said that the Redmi Note 7 price in India is expected to be around the same as China. The phone was launched at a starting price of 999 CNY (Rs. 10,500) in China. At the same time, it is expected that Redmi Note 7 Pro will be launched at a higher price than Redmi Note 7. Some reports have suggested the price of Redmi Note 7 Pro from CNY 1399 to CNY 1499 (Rs. 14,600 to Rs. 15,700). Further, the company is also preparing to launch its first Android Go phone as well. Currently, some reports claim that Xiaomi is working on an Android Go phone which is likely to be called Redmi Go. It will also be launched in India soon.
