The particular feature will help users in saving time from scrolling down through long chats list and provide easy access to often contacted people. A user can simply select and hold a chat and then tap the pin icon at the top of the screen. In this way, a chat will be pinned in the WhatsApp. For now, the feature supports only three chats and beyond that a message, ‘You can only pin up to 3 chats’ will be reflected.

Apart from the Pin option, the users can also see other options like Delete, Mute, and Archive as well, which appears on long-pressing a chat. One of the key benefits of the pin option is that once you pin a chat, it will remain on the top of the chat list. This will be irrespective of the dialogue or conversation timings with other individuals or group. You can unpin a chat by pressing the option and disabling the Pin button.
