Vivo Y55s Specifications

The Vivo Y55s comes with a 5.2 inch IPS LCD display with a HD resolution. The display is covered by a 2.5D curved glass for enhanced viewing angles and user experience. The phone’s pixel density is a healthy 282 PPI, which is quite decent in this price range. Powering the Y55s is a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, featuring a 1.4 GHz quad core processor. The graphics are handled by Adreno 308 GPU. As far as memory is concerned, the Y55s comes with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.

In terms of imaging, the Vivo Y55s is equipped with a 13MP rear camera along with a single LED flash. On the front, you get a 5MP camera for selfies and video calling. Other features of the Y55s include split-screen multitasking, an eye protection mode to reduce blue light and help reduce eye strain. The phone comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS 3.0 on top. Connectivity options on the Y55s include dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The phone is powered by a 2730 mAh battery.

Pricing And Availability

The Vivo Y55s has been priced at Rs. 12,490. It will be available in Crown Gold and Space Grey colour options. It will be available for purchase throughout India starting February 26th.
