Launched earlier in January, the Vivo V5 Plus is one of the few phones to tote a dual camera setup on the front. It comes with a 20MP camera with 5P Largan lens and an 8MP camera. Both the front cameras are assisted by a front LED flash.

The Vivo V5 Plus comes with a 5.5 inch full HD in-cell IPS LCD display, resulting in a pixel density of ~401 PPI. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the latest version of toughened glass. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS 3.0 on top.
Powering the V5 Plus is a 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone houses 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM on board. Coming to the most intriguing part, imaging – the V5 Plus comes with a 16MP rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture and a LED flash. The rear camera also comes with Phase Detection Autofocus.

On the front, you get a dual camera setup. It is only next to LG V10 to feature a dual camera setup on the front. The primary 20MP sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and 5P Largan lens. It is assisted by an 8MP camera next to it, which captures the depth of field details. The two front cameras are supported by a Moonlight LED flash. Other features include a fingerprint sensor and an AK4376 audio chip for an enhanced sound experience. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The V5 Plus is powered by a 3160 mAh battery and comes with fast charging support.
