Initially, spotted by GSMArena, this new Samsung Galaxy Core Prime handset was also listed at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory website in three variants – SM-G3606, SM- G3608 and SM-G3609. The device is claimed to be a dual SIM model with support for LTE connectivity as well. Talking of specifications, the Flipkart listing reveals that the Galaxy Core Prime will be a single SIM device flaunting a 4.5 inch WVGA PLS display with 480×800 pixel resolution. It employs a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and is fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat OS. There is 8 GB of inbuilt storage capacity that can be expanded externally by another 64 GB using a micro SD card. With 1 GB of RAM, the Galaxy Core Prime claimed to have a 5 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front facing selfie camera. There is a 2,000 mAh battery onboard to render a decent backup to the smartphone.
