The handset unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2014 comes with the interesting 4K video recording capability, but it appears like the company will not be able to satisfy those consumers who have pre-ordered the smartphone. According to an Android Central report, the official statement made by Sony UK is that the Xperia Z2 will be delivered in April mainly to those who have pre-booked the phone through key-partners. Also, it has been told that the company is striving hard to increase the stock in order to release the phone on time all over the globe. It is also made clear that there is some shortage, but it is not likely to witness any high demand all over the sales channels. The Xperia Z2 features a 5.2 inch FHD 1080p IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 424 ppi pixel density and a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz paired with Adreno 330 GPU. Fueled by the Android 4.4 KitKat, the Xperia Z2 is equipped with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded externally up to 128 GB using a micro SD card. Furthermore, the Sony flagship phone brings on board connectivity features such as 3G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Infrared port. Also, there is a 3,200 mAh battery in the Xperia Z2 to provide enough juice for the phone to last for long. For the imaging requirements, the handset includes a 20.7 MP primary camera accompanied by 4K video recording, LED flash and OIS and a 2.2 MP front-facer for video calling.
