Those folks at SamMobile spotted the invite sent by Samsung and the report claims that the device shown in the invite could be that of the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S6, the next flagship handset from the vendor. The invite reads, “What’s Next” tipping the arrival of the flagship smartphone.

As per the image that the South Korean tech giant has sent, it looks like the firm is all set to launch a device with a curved design. The curved design is not new as there were numerous reports suggesting that Samsung is opting to use such a curved edge design on its next big ticket offering. Notably, while reporting its earnings in the last week, Samsung revealed that its upcoming offerings will be employing new materials, differentiated features and innovative design. It is likely that Samsung will be ditching the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset on the Galaxy S6 due to concerns regarding overheating and use only the in-house Exynos 7420 SoC.

Otherwise, there are claims that the Galaxy S6 will boast of a 5 inch display with a Quad HD screen resolution and pack in 4 GB of RAM and a 20 MP primary snapper along with a fingerprint sensor. It remains to be seen if the South Korean firm will be launching the Galaxy S6 Edge that has been circulating in rumors to have side displays on one or either side of the screen at the March 1 event.
