Usually, the smartphones, tablets or other devices that are launched globally will take months of time to see an Indian release. But, to our surprise, Samsung’s first Android Wear based smartwatch named Gear Live that has been announced at the Google I/O on Wednesday has been listed in the Indian Play Store bearing a price tag of Rs 15,900. However, the device cannot be purchased right now as it has a coming soon tab on it without any specific release date.

Detailing on the Gear Live, the device features a 1.63 inch Super AMOLED display that carries a resolution of 320×320 pixels. It packs 4 GB of internal storage and is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor paired with 512 MB RAM. The device draws energy from a 300 mAh battery that is claimed to provide enough juice for the smartwatch to last for a day in a single charge. The Gear Live gets paired with other devices using Bluetoth 4.0 and features an interchangeable strap that is available in Black and Wine Red color options.

Like the Samsung’s flagship smartphone Galaxy S5, the Gear Live also features a heart rate monitor onboard that can work with numerous fitness apps.
