The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active makes use of an 8 inch LCD display whose resolution remains unknown, but it is claimed to boast a brightness level of 400 nits that will make it anti-reflective even when used outdoors. Powering the tablet from under its hood is a 1.2 GHz quad core processor that is teamed up with 1.5 GB of RAM for efficient multitasking. While there is no word regarding the internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab Active boasts of a 3.1 MP main camera at its back with LED flash and auto focus for decent imaging during work. This snapper is capable of scanning barcodes as well. For connectivity, the tablet comes all the standard aspects such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB 2.0, HDMI and NFC to keep it always on. Also, there is inbuilt C-Pen housed at the top of the protective cover of the Tab Active. This acts as a stylus that will enable easier note taking, signatures and writing. Besides these, the Galaxy Tab Active comes with 3 pin POGO connection that lets users to connect a group of devices and charge them quickly without much difficulty. The tablet comes preloaded with Samsung KNOX that renders security, which is an essential aspect in business. A 4,450 mAh battery powers the tablet from within and it is rated to pump in up to 10 hours of usage. Samsung provides a free protective case with the Galaxy Tab Active that can withstand severe drops due to the daily usage. It features anti-shock covering to survive 1 to 2 meter drops.
