Samsung had originally introduced the Galaxy Tab A in 2016. Now, the latest Tablet A 7.0 comes with model number SM-T285 and has similar specifications as its predecessor. It has a 7-inch WXGA screen and is powered by a quad-core processor, a 5MP primary camera and a 2MP front camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 sports a 7-inch (1280 × 800 pixels) WXGA TFT LCD display. Dimension wise it measures 186.9 x 108.8 x 8.7 mm and weighs 286 grams.
The tablet is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. Memory wise, it packs 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 200GB via a microSD card. Camera wise, it sports a 5MP autofocus rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. The Galaxy Tab A 7.0 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS + GLONASS. The Galaxy Tab A 7.0 is powered by a big 4,000mAh battery. It also comes with Kids Mode with Parental Control that lets parents set usage time limits and restricting app access for their children.
