If Samsung Manages to keep the price under 20K via online retail model, it will have a viable product to compete in 15K to 20 K range. The Mini variant comes with a 4.5 inch super Amoled Display with 720p HD resolution, powered by 1.4 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 quad core chipset. 1.5 GB RAM is present for smooth multi tasking along with ample 16 GB internal storage, expandable by another 64 GB using MicroSD card support. Dust and water resistant IP67 certification has been passed down to the Galaxy S5 Mini as well. Imaging hardware includes 8 MP rear camera with LED Flash capable 1080p video recording. At the front, a 2.1 MP front facing camera is also present for video calling. Powering the handset is a 2100 mAh battery housed inside 9.1 mm thick body weighing 120 grams. Other features include 3G, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0 LE, GPS, Infrared LED for smart TV remote, S Health, Heart rate sensor and NFC.
