There are a bunch of rumors doing rounds on the internet including a report from Korean publication ETNews which suggest that Samsung Galaxy S10 could feature an in-display fingerprint ultrasonic sensor made by Qualcomm. The Galaxy S10 will be an anniversary flagship, so the company will be bringing something new and fresh to the table. We have been hearing about speculation that the Samsung is going to use in-display fingerprint sensor in its next flagship ever since the launch of Galaxy S9 was nearing. We heard about Samsung building a prototype with an in-display fingerprint sensor and now probably we are going to see it next year. The company has itself confirmed the rumor to be accurate and that it is bringing the in-display fingerprint sensor in Galaxy S10. So, Samsung is going to make its Super AMOLED display for S10 optimized for Qualcomm to provide the in-display fingerprint sensor. Qualcomm’s name has been popped up for the first time in this rumor about in-display fingerprint sensor in Galaxy 10. Another report is also coming that claims Samsung itself is making the ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and will bring this tech to other technologies as well as the smart home devices and appliances. The ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor is going to be better and faster than the optical in-display fingerprint sensor which we saw on the Vivo X21 smartphone. There is a whole year for the Galaxy S10 launch, so we have to rely on the leaks to get more information about this upcoming flagship.
