The Galaxy J8 is a part of the new Infinity series from Samsung and it was announced last month alongside the Galaxy J6 last month. The key highlights of the Galaxy J8 include Super AMOLED Infinity Display, dual cameras, Face Unlock and artificial intelligence features like object and scene detection.

Samsung Galaxy J8 specifications
The Galaxy J8 comes with a 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and runs Samsung Experience on top of Android 8.0 Oreo. It has 64GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD card up to 256GB. The Galaxy J8 has a dual camera setup on the back, with a 16MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor for depth effects. There is a 16MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture. Both the cameras have a single LED flash. The dual camera offers Samsung’s ‘Live Focus’ feature where users can adjust the level of background blur both before and after clicking. Connectivity options on the Galaxy J8 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. It has a new feature called ‘Chat over Video’ that allows users to chat on WhatsApp and messaging app while watching videos. The phone also comes with Samsung Mall and Samsung Pay Mini features.
