Coming to the full specs, the new Samsung Galaxy A7 sports a 6-inch Full HD+ (1080×2220 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity display. Under the hood, it gets a 2.2GHz Octa-Core Exynos 7885 processor with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage which is expandable up to 512GB via micro SD card. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo.
Coming to the optics, it sports triple rear cameras with a 24MP primary camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP 120° Ultra Wide secondary camera, and third 5MP depth camera with f/2.2 aperture. There is a 24MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and also sports an adjustable LED flash, Pro Lighting Mode and AR emoji. The Dual SIM has several connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80, Bluetooth v5, GPS + GLONASS, and NFC. It packs a 3300mAh battery with adaptive fast charging support. The smartphone sports a metal frame with glass back and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It also supports Dolby Atmos for better audio. The dimension of the phone is 159.8 x 76.8 x 7.5 mm and its weight is 168g.
Price, availability
The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) price starts at €349 (Rs. 29,385 approx.). The phone comes in Blue, Black, Gold and Pink colors and it will go on sale in select European and Asian markets in October. It will also be available in India soon. Meanwhile, Samsung is expected to launch another smartphone on October 11 in Malaysia. The new Galaxy smartphone is expected to be the industry’s first to come with a quad rear camera setup.
