Xiaomi‘s main competitor in India, Realme has also launched its Realme X smartphone in the country. This phone is also a mid-ranger with some similar features to Redmi K20. It also has an AMOLED screen with pop-up design and a 48MP sensor. However, there are some differences in terms of camera specs as well as hardware. Redmi K20 price in India starts at Rs. 21,999 for the 6GB/64GB version, while Realme X starts at Rs. 16,999 for a 4GB/128GB version. Redmi K20 Vs Realme X
Design: Glass vs Polycarbonate
The Redmi K20 sports a premium glass back design with a new 3D gradient finish in a flame pattern. The back panel also sports triple rear camera setup aligned vertically. The device also has Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides.
At the front, it comes with slim bezels on each side with a small bottom chin. There’s also a fingerprint sensor under the screen.

The Redmi K20 features the Snapdragon 730 chipset. This is a new chipset from Qualcomm which is based on the 8nm process and has Kryo 470 cores clocked at up to 2.2 GHz. The Realme X is powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC. It is also a powerful chipset in the mid-range segment which is based on the 10nm process and has Kryo 360 cores clocked at up to 2.2GHz. Xiaomi has used a triple rear camera setup on Redmi K20. It includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor alongside a 13MP wide-angle camera and an 8MP telephoto camera. The Redmi K20 price in India starts at Rs 21,999 in India and goes up to Rs. 23,999. Whereas the Realme X is priced at Rs. 16,999 in India for the base model and it goes up to Rs. 19,999. However, there is some difference in terms of RAM and storage. Redmi offers 6GB/64GB base variant and Realme has 4GB/128GB base variant.
