To recall, Realme 2 Pro is the upgraded variant of the Realme 2 which was launched just last month. The company announced that the Realme 2 Pro would be launched in September and later also confirmed the launch date- September 27. The Realme 2 will be exclusive to Flipkart and the e-com portal has also made the landing page for the Realme 2. The Flipkart page also reveals the Snapdragon 660 chipset will power the Realme 2 Pro which is in-line with the geekbench listing.
As per the listing, the single-core score of the alleged Realme 2 Pro is 1452 while the multi-core score is 5511. This score is quite standard for a Snapdragon 660 chipset. As mentioned, the listing reveals Realme 2 Pro will come with 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Further, it also shows that the phone is said to run Android 8.1 Oreo and we also expect Color OS 5.1 on top. If we talk about other features, the leaks and teasers have revealed that the Realme 2 Pro may sport a waterdrop notched display similar to the Oppo F9 series and it could be a Full HD+ panel. In the camera department, the phone is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup. If we talk about pricing, Realme CEO Madhav Seth recently said that the Realme 2 Pro would be more expensive than the Realme 1 but it would be priced below Rs.20,000. So, if the company manages to keep a low price of the Realme 2 Pro, the brand will disrupt the affordable midrange segment in India which is currently ruled mostly by Xiaomi.
