The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset will be a septa core processor which will include four 1.8GHz cores, two 2.4GHz cores, and one 2.8GHz core. Apart from these cores, it will feature the Adreno 640 GPU with “Snapdragon Elite Gaming” optimizations for an even smoother gaming experience. Apart from that, the processor will also feature an AI co-processor and computational photography algorithms. This will help in optimizing the camera performance and will also help the smartphone to take better pictures and videos. Coming to the modem, it will feature a 5G capable X50 modem from Qualcomm and an X24 modem which will give download speed up to 2Gbps. This chipset will power the US version of the Galaxy S10 when it launches next year. And Galaxy S10 may be the first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset. As expected, the global version of the Samsung Galaxy S10 will feature the 8nm manufacturing process based Exynos 9820 chipset.
