Build quality of this device is good and it sports a metal uni-body design like any other mid range smartphone. However the metal back is removable for inserting SIM card and micro-SD card although battery still remains non-removable. The fingerprint sensor sits on the front of the device. Design wise it’s not a very fresh looking design, we have already seen this design on many other smartphones.

Sensors
Panasonic Eluga Ray Max is packed with bunch of sensors. There are all the necessary sensors included in the device and there are some additional sensors as well. It includes all the basic sensors like Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Magnetometer, Gravity Sensor, Pedometer and a Fingerprint sensor of course. Although this device lacks a Gyroscope sensor which is a slight compromise done on this device.
Conclusion
Panasonic Eluga Ray Max is a decent device with a decent specification. However there is nothing in this device which makes it to stand out of the competition. Moreover we feel that Panasonic has used a low powered chip-set for the price it’s being offered which is major disappointment if you are a heavy user. It has got ample amount of RAM and storage so there is no issues in terms of storage and multitasking. Overall the phone is good but there’s nothing to be impressed of. Phone like Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Moto G5 are better options than Panasonic Eluga Ray Max in this price segment.
