Oppo launched the A83 in January this year and last month the company also introduced another upgraded version of A83 dubbed as A83 Pro in India. Now, the third phone in A83 series comes as Oppo A83 2018 and the phone comes with upgraded processor, RAM and storage. Other features like full screen display, face unlock are the same as Oppo A83.

Oppo A83 (2018) Specifications

The new Oppo A83 (2018) sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440 × 720 pixels) full-screen 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The Dual SIM phone runs Android 7.1 (Nougat) with ColorOS 3.2 on top. It has dedicated dual SIM slots and microSD slots. Unlike Oppo A83, the phone is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P23 processor clocked at 2.5GHz with ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU. It packs 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB with microSD.

Camera wise, it also sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture and support for AI beauty technology that scan 200 facial recognition spots to beautify a selfie shot perfectly as well as face unlock feature to unlock the phone quickly. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM Radio. The phone is powered by a 3180mAh battery.
