OnePlus also confirmed that both the upcoming T variant of ITS flagship smartphones, even the OnePlus 7T, will sport 90Hz displays that we saw on the 7 Pro earlier this year. It is also confirmed that the OnePlus TV will be launched alongside the OnePlus 7T series.
OnePlus 7T Specifications
As leaked by previous reports, the OnePlus 7T is said to come with a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. This time, the cheaper variant of OnePlus flagships will also come with 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It will also sport an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The OnePlus 7T series is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. It is expected to pack up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and run on Android 9 Pie with OxygenOS on top. In terms of optics, the 7T will come with an upgrade. Unlike the dual camera set up on OnePlus 7, the 7T could feature a triple rear camera setup in a circular formation. It will come with a primary 48MP sensor, a 12MP telephoto lens with up to 3x zoom, and an ultra-wide 16-megapixel sensor. It will also sport a similar 16MP front camera. The OnePlus event in India will take place at 7 PM on September 26th at Indira Gandhi Arena in New Delhi. The tickets will be available from September 20 on oneplus.in.
OnePlus will hold another launch event at the Magazine London Theater in London on October 10. The company is expected to introduce OnePlus 7T Pro with 5G support at the London event.
