Two variants of the device, the Midnight Black variant with a smooth matte finish and the Mirror Black variant with a glass back have been revealed. An earlier leak had also revealed the White color variant of the device.

The OnePlus 6 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with OxygenOS 5.1 skinned on top. The device will feature a 6.28 inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2280 × 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is expected to come with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
In terms of performance, the OnePlus 6 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. The device will come in three variants – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Coming to the camera department, the OnePlus 6 will feature a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 16MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, 1.22μm pixel size, OIS and a 20MP secondary camera with f/1.7 aperture. On the front, the device will sport a 16MP selfie camera. The device will be powered by a 3,300mAh battery with Dash Charge support. Connectivity options on the device will include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a USB Type-C port.
