OnePlus 6 confirmed specs and features
As of now, it is not clear how many variants of OnePlus 6 will be launched. Until now, OnePlus has been offering two variants of its flagship phones like the OnePlus 5T: one with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and other with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Now, it is possible that for OnePlus 6, OnePlus may retain these two variants alongside adding a third one with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau also said that the OnePlus 6 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, which was already confirmed. Other specs like dual cameras, arranged in the middle of the phone’s rear cover and Oxygen OS based on Android 8.1 are also quite obvious to be there on the OnePlus flagship. Further, there were reports that OnePlus 6 will come with the Apple iPhone X-like notch, which the Chinese manufacturer itself had confirmed last month. Now, the company has assured its fans that the smartphone will come with an option to hide the notch as well. CEO Pete Lau said, “Recently many users have raised interest in having a black-out function. We respect your feedback and would like to give everyone the ability to choose. This function will enable you to black out the background of the notifications and status bar.” Coming to the 256GB model, it may also help OnePlus increase the selling price of the phone. There is no doubt that it will be the most expensive OnePlus phone ever and the 64GB variant of the OnePlus 6 is expected to be priced at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 34,200). The 128GB variant is said to be launched at CNY 3,799 (Rs. 39,300), while if there will be the 256GB model, it might cost you about CNY 4,399 (Rs. 45,600 approx).
