The fifth flagship from the Chinese brand goes by the codename A5000 in the metadata of the leaked images. This further confirms the OnePlus 5 terminology since the OnePlus 3 is known as A3000 and the OnePlus 3T as A3003 or A3010. Some analysts also suggest that the number ‘4’ is a bad omen in China which may be the reason why OnePlus 4 is being skipped.

Coming to the camera samples, they boast a resolution of 16 Megapixels. The pictures are mostly shot under daylight. Quality-wise, they appear to be decent enough with excellent bokeh effects. The Exif (Exchangeable image file format) specifications indicates that images are captured in somewhere near Shenzhen, China. This makes them quite convincing since the headquarters of OnePlus is located there only. The OnePlus 5 is expected to launch within a couple of months. Speaking of specifications, the smartphone will probably feature Snapdragon 835 chipset. This will be mated with a 5.5-inch display, 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128 GB of internal memory. The phone will possibly run on Android 7.1.2 with OxygenOS on top. Recently, we saw a render of the back of the OnePlus 5 rocking a dual camera setup. However, it seemed to be a self-prepared image based out of presumptions. Similarly, there is no surety if these leaked camera samples are genuine or fake. So, take all these with a pinch of salt!
