The Obi S452 Python and S501 Wolverine both have a Samsung Note like faux leather back cover with LG flaghip Like rear keys. The resemblance is skin deep but doesn’t end with hardware. The icons and interface also looks inspired from Samsung Touch Wiz UI.
Obi S452 Python features 4.5 inch display, 1 GB RAM, 2 MP rear camera, VGA front camera and a 1400 mAh battery. Whereas the S501 Wolverine has a slightly bigger 5 Inch display with 1 GB RAM, 5 MP BSI rear camera, VGA front snapper and 1500 mAh battery.
Obi Punch S450 is another Obi smartphone inspired from Samsung. The device comes with perforated rear back cover and touch wiz like icons with 5 inch display, 5 MP/VGA camera and 1800 mAh battery. The Obi S450 features a 4.5-inch OGS display, 512 MB RAM, a 2MP rear camera coupled with VGA front shooter. The phone is powered by a 1,800mAh battery.
All OBI phones incorporate 1.2 Ghz MT6572 dual core chipset coupled with 4 GB internal storage. The display resolution is also 854 x 480 irrespective of display size. All dual SIM phones are meant for first time android users with average battery backup not expected to last one day comfortably with moderate usage. Obi Wolverine S501 is available for 7,867 INR, Obi Punch S450 is priced at 4,981 INR, while OBI S500 is retailing for8,070 INR price tag. The price for Obi S452 Python is not yet available.
