Interestingly, it is the global version of the Nokia X6 smartphone which HMD launched in China a few days back. The hardware and design of Nokia 6.1 Plus are similar to the Nokia X6. The same Android One smartphone will also be launched in India.
Nokia 6.1 Plus Specifications
The Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with a 5.8 inches full HD+ display with 19.9 aspect ratio and 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC which is an octa-core processor clocked at a frequency rate of 1.8GHz paired with Adreno 509 GPU.
The smartphone is coming with stock Android user interface with Android One programme which promises quick and significant Android updates. The smartphone also comes with Face unlock feature and AI features in the camera to enhance the pictures taken. The Nokia 6.1 Plus features a dual rear camera setup which includes a 16MP sensor and a 5MP monochrome sensor. The aperture size is f/2.0 and it comes with an AI feature for better photography and lighting effects. The front-facing camera is a 16MP sensor with HDR support and it also features Bothie features to take pictures from the front and rear camera at the same time. The smartphone features all the connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type C port. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor at the back of the smartphone and it is powered by a 3060 mAh battery which Quick Charge 3.0 support.
Nokia 6.1 Plus Pricing and Availability
Nokia 6.1 Plus has been launched in Hong Kong and it is priced at HKD 2,288 (approx. Rs 20,100.) The smartphone comes in Blue and White color variants, it will be available on July 24 in Hong Kong. There are no words about the global launch of the smartphone.
