The Nokia 6.1 Plus is identical to the Nokia X6 which was launched in China last month in terms of specifications and features. Another report claims that Nokia 6.1 Plus is expected to go official on July 19. Previously, Nokia X6 India launch was also hinted through the support page on the official India website.
Nokia X6/Nokia 6.1 Plus Specifications
The Nokia 6.1 Plus will sport a 5.8-inch FHD+ (2280 × 1080 pixels) notch display with 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor with Adreno 509 GPU, 4GB/6GB RAM, up to 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB.
The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo and is also upgradable to Android P. The Dual SIM phone has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C as connectivity options. It packs a 3060mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support. For imaging, it sports a dual rear camera setup with a 16MP RGB sensor with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.0um pixel size, and a 5MP monochrome secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and 1.2um pixel size. There is a 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.0um pixel size. The Nokia X6 global variant or Nokia 6.1 Plus is likely to be released in Hong Kong on July 19 and soon after it could be introduced in India as well.
