By Nokia ReFocus App you can click a picture, and then later tap various parts of the picture to focus on them, while the rest go blurry. Similar thing can be done by Lytro cameras which accomplish this task using hardware feature. The Refocus App does all this using software or Computational photography, by performing a Focus Sweep and forming a depth map of your picture. The Nokia Lumia camera will take 2 to 8 shots at different focal lengths of 5 MP each and all these will be aligned and merged together to make one image. You can try this by focusing on the object closest to you in the picture and when you click the pic by taping the view finder, it will take a couple of seconds for Nokia Refocus to accomplish the task. You have the ability to change the image after it has been shot.
The Color pop feature is also present in this App. All you have to do is select the dropper icon on the right of the viewfinder. You can now tap the portion of the image you want to focus on and color will remain only in the focused area, rest of the image will go black and white. After clicking your pictures you can share the same with other Lumia devices and on Facebook and your friends will be able to Tap on various area’s or click on them to refocus. You can download this App now from Windows Phone store. You can also watch our video below to see this App in action.
