Live images of the Nokia E1 have already surfaced on the internet. Just like the Nokia 6, this is also expected to be a China-only device. So far, we are yet to see any Nokia branded smartphone or tablet to set its footprint outside the Great Wall of China.
Nokia E1 Specifications
Quite obviously, we don’t get any idea about the specifications of the upcoming Nokia smartphone from the leaked photograph. However, recently, a new Nokia handset passed the screening of the 3C Certification at China. There is a very strong chance it is nothing but the Nokia E1 itself. As per the leaked information, the forthcoming Nokia phone is going to be an entry level device. It will have a 5.2-inch or 5.3-inch display with HD 720p resolution. The quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 425 chipset is expected to power up the Nokia E1. Coming to memory, the smartphone will sport 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal memory. On the software side, it will run Android 7.0 Nougat. Moving on to the optics, a 13 MP camera shall sit at the back of the phone. On the front, there will be a 5 MP selfie unit. There is no info about the battery. Nevertheless, the Nokia E1 will likely have 4G support along with the usual set of connectivity options. Do note that these are not the final specs. Nothing is confirmed until the official launch.
Pricing and Availability
Coming to availability, HMD Global may release the Nokia E1 at the MWC due next month. Talking about pricing, it will understandably cost lesser than the Nokia 6. However, at this moment we don’t really have any solid info regarding that.
