The latest report from NokiaPowerUser claims that HMD’s MWC 2018 announcements were not the only smartphones for 2018. To recall, HMD Global launched four new Nokia smartphones at the MWC including the Nokia 8 Sirocco flagship which is now being seen as Nokia 9’s 2017 version. Now, Nokia 9 and Nokia 8 Pro are supposed to be announced soon as the 2018 flagships.
Nokia 9, Nokia 8 Pro Specifications
According to the report, the Nokia 9 will sport a bigger 5.7-inch display compared to the 5.5-inch display on the Nokia 8 Pro. The report further suggests that the Nokia 9 will be the company’s first phone to get an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is also speculated that Nokia 9 will be the premium Nokia phone with best-in-class camera, design and some innovative features. Earlier, it was Nokia 8 Pro that was tipped to feature the Penta-Lens camera module, but now it is tipped that Nokia 9’s camera may be even more powerful. As mentioned, both of these flagships will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset, however, none of these specifications or features have been confirmed yet.
Price and Availability
It is reported that HMD is preparing for Nokia 8 Pro launch in August 2018 while the Nokia 9 expected to launch later in September. There is no confirmed report on these phone’s pricing it. Still, it is expected that the Nokia 9 might get a heftier price tag.
