The price cut on Nokia phones has actually been revealed by a Mumbai based smartphone retailer Mahesh Telecom. The dealer has announced new prices of Nokia 8 and Nokia 5 on his Twitter profile. Nokia 8 is priced at Rs. 28,999 form its original price of Rs. 38,000. Similarly, the 3GB variant of Nokia 5 is now priced at Rs. 12,499.

Nokia 8 Specifications
The Nokia 8 is HMD Global’s first flagship smartphone, launched back in October 2017 with a metal unibody design and comes with a 5.3-inch IPS-LCD panel with Quad HD resolution. Nokia 8 currently runs on stock Android 8.0 Oreo.
In terms of camera, the Nokia 8 sports a dual 13MP rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics. It is an RGB + Monochrome setup. Up front, there is a 13MP camera for selfies and video calling. The phone also has a Bothie feature which lets you use both the rear and front cameras together. The Nokia 8 is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and Adreno 540 GPU. The phone packs 4GB RAM and 64GB UFS storage. There is also option up to 256GB expandable storage using a microSD card.

Nokia 5 features 5.2-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. In terms of optics, the phone sports a 13MP autofocus rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED Flash. There is an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Coming to hardware, the Nokia 5 is powered by a Snapdragon 430 Octa-core processor, coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. This combination is backed by 2GB or 3GB RAM along with 16GB internal storage. The device runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and is now receiving Android 8.0 Oreo Beta update.
