On Friday, the Microsoft acquired handset manufacturer has released the dual SIM variant of feature phone dubbed Nokia 225 carrying a tempting price tag of Rs 3,199. The handset is available for sale on the Nokia Shop and it packs internet enabled features similar to a smartphone. Talking of specifications, the Nokia 225 flaunts a 2.8 inch LCD display packing QVGA resolution of 320×240 pixels. The handset features a dust and splash proof keymat and it is dual SIM phone with dual standby feature. Based on Nokia Series 30+ platform, the handset has a 2 MP fixed focus rear camera and connectivity aspects such as USB 1.1, Bluetooth 3.0 and USB mass storage. Also onboard is a micro SD card slot that can support up to 32 expandable storage support and a 1,200 mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 21 hours of talk time and 27 days of standby time. Nokia has included attractive features such as Nokia Xpress Browser with 90% efficiency, Bluetooth 3.0 with Slam sharing feature and pre-loaded apps including Facebook, Twitter, Block Breaker 3, Assassins Creed 3, Asphalt 6, Real Football 2012 and The Avengers. The Nokia 225 Dual SIM is available in a slew of vibrant color options such as Red, Black, White and Yellow. Moreover, the phone is bundled with freebies including 100 free minutes (Airtel to Airtel), 400 free National SMS and 50 MB of data for 1 month.
