The Taiwanese manufacturer has been relatively quiet in the Android world, but these new smartphones will help the company increase consumer interest. The Liquid Jade 2 comes with mid-range specs, while the Liquid Zest series comes with budget segment specs.

Acer Liquid Jade 2
The Acer Liquid Jade 2 comes with a 5.5 inch AMOLED display with a Full HD screen resolution. At 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, you get a very good pixel density of ~401 PPI. The display comes with a 176 degree viewing angle and infinite contrast, thanks to the AMOLED technology. Acer has used the Snapdragon 808 processor in the Liquid Jade 2. This hexa-core processor is assisted by the Adreno 418 GPU. In terms of memory, the Liquid Jade 2 comes with 3 GB RAM, and 32 GB internal storage. Acer is offering One TB of cloud storage free with the Liquid Jade 2. The phone comes with a 21 MP camera on the back, with dual LED flash and support for video recording up to 4K. The front side houses an 8 MP camera for selfies and video calling. The Liquid Jade 2 also comes with the new USB Type C port, so it is very likely that it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This is because Google has added support for USB Type C ports in Marshmallow.
