Besides these devices, Motorola is also making rounds in the rumors as it is claimed to be working on the Nexus 5 successor with a handset codenamed Shamu. Entrusted sources have been suggesting that Motorola and Google are working together to launch a new Nexus smartphone this year and that the device will be fitted with a large 5.9 inch display.

Now, the Shamu has been spotted on Zauba, an import/export tracking website in India. The handset appears to carry the model number XT 1112 and a price tag of Rs 34,982. Motorola has been using such model numbers for its recent offerings such as XT 1022 for Moto E, XT 1033 for Moto G, XT 1055 for Moto X, XT – 1068 for Moto G2 and XT 1097 for Moto X+1. The addition of another device to the list of expected devices from Motorola is not surprising as it is gossiped that the vendor is planning to add up almost nine devices to its portfolio by the end of this year. We can expect Motorola to confirm the specifications of the Shamu and reveal the names of the other devices that it is prepping soon after the launch of the aforementioned devices at the September 4 event.
