The Motorola One Power comes in only 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage at a price tag of Rs 15,999 and will go on sale via Flipkart starting from October 5. Here are our hands-on and initial impressions of the smartphone.

Build and Design

The Motorola One Power comes with an aluminum build with a matte design and plastic sides. The smartphone comes with a notch display design on the front with the Motorola banding under the display. The notch on the front includes the front facing camera with LED flash and the necessary sensors like the proximity sensor and the light sensor.

The Moto One Power feels a bit chunky in hands as the smartphone is 8.4 mm thick and its a bit heavy too with 199 grams. The smartphone feels good in hands, fits perfectly and the smartphone is easy to handle and operate with one hand. The smartphone is built solid, and the smartphone can withstand some shocks and drops because of the polycarbonate frame.

Display

The Moto One Power comes with a 6.2 inches display with a notch on the top which holds all the sensors and the front facing camera with LED flash. The display comes with a Full HD+ resolution and 18.7:9 aspect ratio for a screen to body ratio of 402 ppi pixel density.

The display on Moto One Power is good overall for the brightness, and everything seems readable even in outside conditions. While watching some video content, the viewing angles are quite good although the color contrast seems a bit off.

Camera

The Moto One Power comes with a dual camera set up at the back which includes a 16MP sensor and a 5MP sensor for out-focusing photography. The smartphone also comes with Google Lens support right out of the box, and the shortcut to Google Lens is available in the default camera app. The Moto One Power comes with a 12MP sensor for selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture size and selfie flash for brighter selfies. The smartphone is capable of recording 4K videos at 30 frames per second, but it lacks any kind of stabilization. The smartphone also features depth mode in the selfies too.

Performance

The Moto One Power comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor clocked at a frequency range of 1.8GHz paired with Adreno 509 GPU. The smartphone comes with 4GB RAM built in with 64GB internal memory which is expandable via micro SD card.

  The smartphone comes with Android 8.1 Oreo preinstalled with no bloatware at all except for the Moto support app and Moto app for some extra Moto features. The smartphone comes with Android One support which means that it will get the next version of Android soon.

One of the main features of the Moto One Power is its 5000 mAh battery which comes with the Moto Turbo Charging support. The smartphone gets charged faster than a traditional 2 Amp charger even though it comes with a large battery. The battery also lasts a lot longer than expected; it can give you a full two days of usage at optimum usage.
