Motorola Moto Z2 Play Leaked Specifications
According to the leaked information, the Moto Z2 Play will be 1 mm slimmer than the existing Moto Z Play. Considering that the latter measures only 7 mm in thickness, the upcoming smartphone will certainly be one of the sleekest smartphones till date. Unfortunately, this extreme slimness has taken a toll on the battery power. Instead of the 3500mAh battery of the Moto Z Play, the Z2 Play would come with a 3000mAh cell.
Speaking of display, there won’t be any changes. The Moto Z2 Play will rock a similar 5.5 inch Full HD Super AMOLED panel of the Moto Z Play. Inside, the newer smartphone will house a Snapdragon 626 chipset. This is a minor improvement from the Snapdragon 625 SoC of the Moto Z Play. Coming to memory, the Moto Z2 Play will boast 4 GB of RAM combined with 64 GB of storage. Camera-wise, the upcoming smartphone is inspired by the Moto G5 Plus. The Moto Z2 Play will come with a similar 12 MP dual autofocus pixel rear camera. Some additional improvements will be there of course. The selfie shooter of the Moto Z2 Play will be a standard 5 MP unit. There shall be a dual tone front facing LED flash too. Connectivity-wise, the newer smartphone will be identical to its predecessor. As mentioned above, it will sport a 3000mAh battery. The phone will weigh at just 145 grams. Being a Z-Series device, the Moto Z2 Play shall be compatible with the Moto Mods. Talking about pricing, the Moto Z Play successor is expected to cost around Rs. 24,000 to Rs. 26,000 in India.
