A lot has changed since original Moto E set market on fire last year. To keep up, domestic and Chinese competition has evolved many folds and the new Moto E, even with several enhancements, is bound to face tough competition from online exclusives and Flash sale subjects.

This time the display will be marginally bigger, being 4.5 Inches in size and the Snapdragon 200 SoC get’s 2 extra cores. The much condemned 5 MP fixed focus camera has been replaced by considerably improved 5 MP AutoFocus rear camera. A decent VGA camera has also been added on the front side. Motorola has been listening and has executed some design improvements too. The side edges can be peeled off that’s where SIM card and MicroSD card are housed. The back cover cannot be removed.
India is one of the most important markets for Motorola and it’s no surprise that India is among the first wave of countries getting new Moto E. The 4G LTE variant, which uses Snapdragon 410 chipset will arrive sometime later.
