In a blog post yesterday, the company cleared up the confusion about the computer graphics app. MS Paint is widely considered as the first graphic editor used by masses and also the first graphic editor learned by children. It made its debut with the launch of Windows 1.0 in 1985. MS Paint still remains one of the core programs in Windows. “Today, we’ve seen an incredible outpouring of support and nostalgia around MS Paint. If there’s anything we learned, it’s that after 32 years, MS Paint has a lot of fans. It’s been amazing to see so much love for our trusty old app”, the company wrote in the blog post. Since its launch, Paint has reshaped itself from a 1-bit monochrome licensed software to a quality graphics tool. And now it is being renewed with an upgraded Paint 3D. The news of Paint being removed went viral from a post published by Microsoft. It listed Features that are removed or deprecated in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update and Paint was among those. With Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, Microsoft is also removing Outlook Express, Reader app and Reading list with Windows 10 Fall Update. The company is now making way for modern applications that are built on the company’s universal platform. The legacy Paint app was never a full-fledged app and somewhat it was capped to imaging only. Also, Microsoft doesn’t market Paint 3D as the successor to Paint, but it is now be seen as the legitimate successor of the good old paint.
