From the images, the phone looks like most other budget Canvas series phones, only a bit thicker. The phone will hold for up to 1 m under water for up to 30 minutes. Micromax seems to be on a launch spree this New Year and there are several other phones like Micromax Canvas Knight A350 in the pipeline. Micromax has made a name for itself by providing several innovative features at budget price range. Following the same operating principle, the company also recently launched Micromax Canvas Mad, which pays you to watch ads. Micromax also recently launched Micromax Canvas Power A96 offering a 4000 mAh battery, for higher battery backup. A waterproof phone is again a first in budget price range from Micromax, and will certainly be physically more durable. Hope Micromax also packs powerful hardware under the hood, for the IP67 certification alone won’t make it a good buy.
